Clown Battles (photos)

Post by loachmom » Wed Jun 13, 2007 10:15 pm

Today, we noticed that the clown loaches were very active. I'm not sure if it was the electrical storms that were all around us all day, or the new white rock that I added. There was quite a battle that lasted for almost an hour.

I really like this photo. They locked lips for about five seconds and came right up to the glass.

Here is the victor looking quite pleased with himself.

Fabulous pictures. In the last two weeks or so mine have been scrapping a lot.

Great photos :)

It must be the time of year for it, mine have been having mini scraps for over a week now and I noticed yesterday for the first time that at least 5 of the 18 Clowns have developed tubercles on their heads and faces.

Amazing photos :)
There's no way I can possibly keep Clowns myself, so it's great to be able to see the behaviour of other people's.
Fast and bulbous!

By those photos alone it looks like they are going out on a date. And the guys gets a kiss goodnight at the end. And then doesn't get asked to come up so he is swimming away by himself =(

Great Photos.
