Clown/Plec video

Post by Bonedaddy » Fri Jun 29, 2007 2:58 am

Hi just a litttle video as a few people asked to see some of the plecs - quality is not to good and the water is not it`s normal clear state due to the clown onslaught on the cucumber/courgette - and small pieces flying everywhere  was out of bloodworm so will get some today and get some footage of the mayhem later tonight

Very nice, I love the Green Phantom and the Zebra. 8) Your Zebra is surprisingly bold, my 2 never venture out from the back of my River Tank, staying under the cover of darkness all the time (I just see the odd bit of stripyness poking out here or there).
The loaches look great too and that bogwood arch is fab.

Beautiful plecos and loaches. I really like the zebra. He is like a floating optical illusion. Quick Question - when you do the veggie thing with them do you blanch it first or feed raw?

All the veg goes in raw - rinse it first just in case of any pesticides, etc but just attach to a `screwcumber` and away you go - glad you like the bogwood thing Emma - thats just the tip of the iceberg - there is tons of it in there - will post some pics of the whole tank soon - yeah `stripeybum` is suprisingly out and about - will not give in to any of the plecs pretty much,a feisty little monkey

Great variety of beautifule fishes! Is that an Ancistrus eating with pleco, or just small pleco?

Have to learn these english names for vegetables...damn, got no clue what veg are you guys talking about. :?

EDIT: ok, just figure out the cucumber :)

:P Hi Dedi, The 1st plec you see is a L47 Magnum plec eating with our big common. The 2nd one you see is a L200 Green phantom eating with our 2nd Common. You see a L128 Blue phantom on the wood above our little stripey L46 Zebra plec. and the big 1 with red eyes looking out over them both is a Panaque L27. The veg is Cucumber and Courgette ( Zuchini).
