New Pangios + burrowing action pics!

Post by Emma Turner » Tue Sep 25, 2007 1:00 pm

These tiny little kuhlis came in a week ago today, supposedly as something new - Pangio cf doriae, but I think they are just juvenile standard P. doriae. What do you think?

For size - the two white marks on the not-very-clear ruler show 1".

And in metric:

Question mark loach?

You can see how close I had to zoom in to these little chaps, you can see the pixels on the aquarium background and the stones are actually grains of silica sand:

The burrowing begins.....

The loach thought it was well hidden, but it was like viewing it through the kuhli equivalent of an ant farm!

And last pic, is this one loach or two?!

These few fish were the largest of the batch, the rest are like little bits of spaghetti!

Hope you enjoyed looking through them,

Emma

Fantastic. I thought of shoe laces, you thought of spaghetti!
