I had an accident when I moved them a while back.. One was hiding in the plant roots and fell on the floor.
So I had this tiny kuhli writhing on the floor. I tossed on some water so the kuhli would be sitting in a puddle..Then I didn't know what to do.
Too small for me to grasp...teh rim of a net would crush the loach...So I ended up using a wet piece of water and that worked.
Fast forward...The kuhlis seem happy in the thirty gal, though they do not come out as much as they did in the twenty gal. No more die offs, which is nice.
Probably because the creeping jenny they like to slither in is floating and not rooted on the bottom anymore. I think I'm going to ancher it down in a pot this time...It was nice having a planted jungle tank, but sad when I had to tear it up.
The LFS got in some nice big kuhlis ( best I've ever seen) so I was thinking of getting two more..Except I just got three bettas in the mail so not good timing.
Update on my kuhli loaches.
