I wanted to document the pond process from the moment I suggested it to my girlfriend. She said she likes the idea and volunteered her pond, which, from my looking at it, needed a good makeover.
When I was setting up my river tank manifold, her chauffer (who is also fish-head) offered to help out since he'd never heard of such a thing before. (he's the bald dude in this picture)
To make the long story short. He liked the idea so much that he went ahead and set up the pond in the span of 2 days.
I went over today and he was cycling it with a few feeder goldfish that are going to feed his snakehead afterwards.
It looks beautiful. I'll post pictures soon. And then again when we release the clowns. Still need to add more substrate and plants as well as some bogwood.
I dream of one day setting up an indoor tropical pond for my clowns.
