Syncrossus hymenophysa

Also known as the Green Tiger loach. I have been trying to find out what kind of tiger loach I have for some time, and I was checking through the index, and finally found it. Vertical stripes and a dark spot on the dorsal fin. Beautiful fish. Mine are only 2.5- 3 inches right now, and I know they will be very large and most likely become agressive. At this time mine are a little pushy but not aggressive. Mine cozy up to my yoyos. Guess I am a lucky, because my Skunk loaches are also not agressive. Boisterous, chase each other and click, but no torn fish or injuries. I assume as they mature their aggression will increase, and I have long term plans for a large Grrr Tank! :) I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to this website for the incredible index for identification and care. Thank you, Tanja.
