Saw these today in Cardiff Bay Pets at Home -

Please could someone tell me if they are they Dwarf Loach ?

No. I think they are juvenile Sucking 'Loach' (not really a loach)/Chinese Algae Eater: Gyrinocheilus aymonieri. These get large and very aggressive with age and are not actually great algae eaters.

No need to feel embarrassed Steve. It is far better that you took the time to take pics and ask for an opinion - you'd have regretted it if you'd have bought those on impulse! :wink:

i don't know that part of wales for shops but andy aka piggy4 has been to swansea and said there's a very good shop there, i'll as him the name of the shop and post it up if it's not to far away for you.
