Yeah, I notice that if you search on Schistura subfusca on FishBase you get Nemacheilus subfusca. And I misled Tanja earlier - S. mahnerti doesn't have subfusca as a synonym, but as Emma stated it is N. subfusca that does. So it just got moved over to another genus. Confusion reigns, I guess, and it doesn't help that common names apply to several species. I'm pretty sure the ones we have here are S. mahnerti and Tanya's fish look identical to me on the light bottom in the first pictures. But just to make thisd even more confusing, the LOL species index has N. subfusca as a junior synonym of Schistura scaturgina. Isn't this fun!
