I understand where you are all coming from! And i do agree with what you have said.
But i guess i maybe expressed what i meant, wrong.
When i bought my clownloaches a long time ago i didn't know much about the breed but thought they were an interesting fish and i never regretted it that i spend the ridiculous amount of money buying them.
The people in the store told me that this is a school fish and needs company. So i had a few.
I was also told that if you keep the fish alone as in one clown in the tank then this fish would not grow would not thrive and soon die.
They said it didn't matter if the clown had other bottom feeders it would just perish in time.

Thats why i posted this story above to let people know that it is possible to have a clown fish alone in the tank and it will not die of a broken heart or loneliness. That is the myth basically.

We will see what the future holds for me but i am sure that i will buy clowns again. They are quite costly here 10$ per fish or more and since i am a single mom with 2 little kids i have to watch my spending.
But again, i love the clownloaches and will get them again one day and i do have a 55 gallon tank with strong water currant and low light which fish seem to prefer.

Sorry it took me so long to answer but i was quite busy. Anyhow again thanks for all the great feedback, i do appreciate it as i learn from it.
