Hi Dutch, you have mail  I could only find one loach-specific paper on my pc but I have plenty of more generalised biodiversity papers if you're interested.... Are you studying in Cadiz?? I was there earlier in the year for the fiesta...what a party! I'm off to Andalucia again tomorrow for a week to do some rock climbing and hopefully some diving 8)

Thanks for the papers Andre and Matt!

No, I'm not in Cadiz. There are people from Cadiz at the department I work, here in Nijmegen. I was asked if I was interested in Cadiz for a traineeship next year, but it's not for me. I'm sure Cadiz is a great place to be, but the 'Cadiz'-approach to science doesn't agree with me.

Are you on holliday? I love rock climbing (although I haven't done it in ten years or so). I've had the a plan for years that when I get my own house I will get some grips and turn one room in a climbing room. Walls, ceiling, all covered in grips. That will be so much fun!!
Diving is high on my list of "future projects" too. A friend of mine is going to Curacao in june for a traineeship where she will be diving every day. I'm really jealous!!

Hey Erik, yes I'm on holiday. My other half is living in the south of Spain so I'm paying a visit. Flying in 3 hours :) I will be moving to Barcelona next month though hence the Spanish lessons! Tomorrow I'm climbing at El Torcal http://www.absoluteaxarquia.com/areas/eltorcal.html

That looks awesome Matt! I'm really jealous now, be sure you don't take anything less than the red route. :P
I'd love to go trailrunning there some day. After tearing my mensicus last year and a very slow recovery I'm only now getting back to training, but I love rough terrain like that. Can't wait to get back in shape and crush some hills.
