I managed to get another decent shot of the Striata today, its markings have changed slightly since I got it but I suppose the markings will constantly change as it starts filling out.

What a beauty. 8) I take it the other 'normal' B. striata are behaving normally around this strangely marked one?

Very nice! 8)

Hey, Mark. Is it me or do others see the length of the body? Head down-wards towards the Dorsal fin looks rather long. Or maybe once filled out, all will look normal.

That is something I have noticed, it is longer and thinner than the normal Striatas and the area from head to dorsal is longer than on the other Striatas.

I havnt seen any aggression or anything and they are allways all together, it does stand out from the others but they dont seem notice.

Perhaps it represents the fish that was described as Botia striata kolhapurensis? (Although this is currently a synonym anyway).
