Wow, I guess this really does prove that no two fish are alike, huh?
My clowns think they own my tank (I guess Tanooki lets them have it) they're always out, and when I'm near, they think it's snack time or dance time. They looove bloodworms, and have ended up in some very funny places attempting to get every last scrap of them. They're little show offs, and quite the piggies! They're always running their barbels over the plants, or weaving around each other at play at the front of my tank. They do have many hiding spots- specifically one large piece of driftwood in the center of the tank that they love. I'm not sure what it is. :? Perhaps mine are used to the smaller tank, seeing they were kept in one at the pet store for two months.

Hornwort is good for a floating plant, IMO. It provides a fair amount of shade and does a great job at sucking up nitrates. It goes mad in my tanks, and its pretty and green.

mine were awesome before... the disaster (the tank leaked *brand new* after 3 months of being up). then the clowns got crammed into a 55gal while we were putting the second level back together and now... well... i guess they're glad to be home, but maybe they're scared??? one baby clown is out 24/7 it's a runt... hasn't grown at all since i've gotten him/her.
i'm praying that their shyness is only temporary...
many tanks...

got to love my fat little wobbly wigglies...
