Hi Emma, that thin bar thick bar pattern seems to be a juvenile trait ! i remember the ones Kamphol showed here originally, as Berdmorei sp/ ? i wonder if he still thinks these are Berdmorei ? or other sp/.
I can clearly remember seeing the pic by kamphol, it was the last pic on understanding Tiger loaches , here on L O L .

The ones with the 'thin bar, thick bar' markings are the same size as the ones with 'normal' markings though. All this batch are around 4" TL. The juveniles I've had in in the past (at a smaller size) have also only had the 'normal' barring. These were caught at a different location to where mine normally come from (they were supposed to be something else but the supplier misidentified them!). :?
