Tried the box filter full of floss idea myself, but it really wasn't effective.
The 20g river tank is finally (after what seems like a long time) beginning to clear. I added a purigen pad to a small hang on the back filter, and have been doing water changes weekly and feeding a bit less. Still some green, but clearing out now.

Man it was pea soupy for a good month!

It's the new submersible mini-UV made by JBJ. I'd also use it for hospital tanks. The pump and light are integrated together and placed inside the tank so there's no plumbing to deal with. Only the ballast sits outside the tank.

So I have 5, 15, 25, and 57W UV sterilizers now...
