About the camera, thats funny. I had the same issue. They would look at it like if it really was going to eat them. I just left the camera next to the tank for a week or two and they eventually got used to it. Be sure to post its picture. I want to see it.

Emma, to get back to this, he still has those tubercle bumps on his head area and it has not gone away as of one month since you had asked me on Nov 18th.

Very interesting! Especially after it has been suggested that these only show for a short time during 'breeding season'. You'll have to keep an eye on this fish to see if and when these 'tubercles' disappear. Thank you for letting us know. :wink:

Update! The tubercles are gone. It diassapeared after I netted him. Of all my loaches, he was by far the slimyest one. The large net was totally clogged and sticky with his mucous. He is now stressed out and not happy after being moved to another tank (rivertank). I have not seen him eat in 2 days as well. I hate moving them but it is something I had to do. Hopefully he gets accustomed to his new envirinment soon and starts eating again.
