New Additions to the Grrr Tank!

Well it's been over a week now since i purchased 6 Yasuhikotakia lecontei's from Emma's store. I've been keeping these Yasuhikotakia lecontei's in a tank on their own for the time being, while i observe their behavior. The males are by far the most aggressive ones (naturally) and the females are quite mellow in comparison but they can defend themselves very well once challenged. So far, these seem able to cope well in the Grrr tank. I will keep you updated on how they manage to the life of Agro. The only time i've been able to capture some pictures is when it's feeding time. Here's a few. :D

Beautiful! 8) I bet they'll be right at home in the Grrr tank. They are still causing much agro at the shop, and I think I'll be moving them in with the Y. eos tomorrow or Tues.

Thanks! :D

These chaps are very addictive to watch. Their streamline body shape is superb to watch when they are in mid-air swimming mode.

Those are really nice!
I think I should go through the species index again, I seem to have missed some nice species.

Here is the link>> http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php?t=8158. I've added some Syncrossus helodes and Yasuhikotakia lecontei since then.

I'm setting up my GRR tank to look like a boxing ring. Complete with the ring, ropes, and the stands with spectators.

That should be cool to see.

The Eos's will definitely tone down their agression. I am curious.
