Some loach pictures

I have managed to catch a few of my fish on "film" in the last few days, so here are some pictures. The first one is my new 55 gal tank where the striatas and some Pangio myersi live. I really like the look of it with the sand substrate.

I bought all the fish from April at Pets Beautiful in Vancouver - she's fantastic to deal with and prices are great, AND she ships!!! I had been trying to get my LFS to bring in striatas for about 6 months, and April got these beautiful fish for me. They are large and healthy and very photogenic - they come up to the front whenever I'm there! Here are some photos:

The Pangios in that tank are doing fine now after an initial loss of several. They are hard to take pictures off though, but I managed to get one

There's also a school of 7 black neons, four sae's and two Otos in the tank (I had only ordered 4 sae's, but April sent 10 plus three Oto's because she felt the sae's were small (plus I got three cardinal tetras as well).
After levamisole and quarantine, I have added 7 new Botia kubotia to my other tank, along with four of the sae's and one Oto, 7 Pangio kuhli and 5 small Corydoras sterbai to join the two large ones I have there.

They are sharing with my four clowns - the tank is too small for them, but they are small still so I have to solve that later. These are the small ones

and here is a picture of the larger one (same as on my avatar)

The older kubos are doing well. Here's a picture of one of them who likes to hang out in a crevice in a root - it looks strange but it's really just fine.

Anyway, that's enough for now, I guess. Enjoy.
