Yoyo and Kub life length

I've just been wondering.

What is the lifespan for the following loaches:

Botia Almorhae
Botia Kubotai
Botia Striata
Yasuhikotakia Sidthimunki
Yasuhikotakia Morleti
Pangio Khuli

I know clowns live for 40+ years, but what about these guys? My speculation on Kubotai is that they last longer than yoyos because my kubs grow so slow but my yoyo who started smaller than my smallest kub is now twice it's size in around 1 month.

Hi Rocco,

This is an interesting topic for me too. We dont hear a lot about life expectancies. I think this is an important thing to consider when keeping fish.
Check out these threads.

I've seen those :)

12 years for a yoyo but one of the sites lists the kubs at 4 years, which I seriously doubt.

Does anyone have any kub experience?

A good number of years ago there was a Sidthimunki that was winning most of the shows ! this must have been at least 20 years ago , this particular fish was apparently 15 years old , and it must be said it was a stunning specimen , it must have been about 3 inches in length ! if my memory serves me right the owner was a chap called Andy Feast , i dont know how long the fish lived for , perhaps Andy Feast might still be active in the hobby, and could tell us ?
