Young Sewellia

I was having a good clean out in my rivertank today and while moving a few cobbles etc I came across 4 young Sewellia just over 17mm long, I lost my adult female Sewllia lineolata a few weeks ago after the male had been harassing her for a couple of days.

At first I thought spawning activity but then she started to look a little rough so I moved her to her own tank for two days but she didn't recover which I wasn't happy about, but now it looks like it was spawning activity after all.

Obviously these are quite old and not from the most recent activity :D

For size comparison the white pipe you can see is around 22mm

Cheers Mick, I guess its one of those things that happens when males start chasing females :?

Thanks Emma :)

Congratulations!!!
That little fellow looks like he is a couple of months (or more) old.
He (looks like it might be a male) sure has a nice pattern, too. :D
