Increasing school size

I started my 75G with low numbers of each fish so I could wait and see how they all interacted and adjust numbers to suit. Currently I have 5 Yoyo loaches, 1 gold gourami, a SAE and 5 zebra danios.
I want to add two more Yoyo's. My current Yoyo's range from 1-3/4" to 2-1/2". The LFS has some ranging from 1" to 3". To have the smoothest transition for the school, should I be buying large ones, small, medium? Will there be any real aggression as the newcomers adjust?

With Yoyo's I think any size you get is going to cause some unrest with the others, personally I would go with fish around the same size and let them sort it amongst themselves

i have added 2 yoyos that were considerably bigger than any of my other loaches, and was expected mayhem. i was very lucky, and there wasnt too much fighting, greying out and distrubances. lucky is probably the important word, if i was to do it again it could well go the other way.
if you really like the bigger ones in the shop, then just prepare yourself well for scuffles! if the bigger ones are just like the smaller ones, definately go with mad Duff's advice.

I agree with Mad Duff and Helen, stick with the size of the fish you have, although you may be lucky with little and big Yoyos.
I had Yoyos in two tanks. One tank had 2 larger Yoyos 3.5-4" and the second tank had 5 1.5-2.5" Yoyos. I recently combined both groups and there has been a bit of scuffling and greying out, but no major aggression and no injury. Everyone's just trying to figure out where they belong in this new pack. On occasion they eat together, hang out together, sleep together, . . . I have lots of plants and hidey places to allow them to get away from each other if they need to.
