Clown loach photo's

I have managed to build my shoal of Clowns back upto 13 fish and I am waiting for an email from a guy I got talking to a few days ago who has 4 Clowns over 9" that he is parting with

Very nice, my shoal of clowns is also currently at 13 with the largest being a couple of them at around 5.5 to 6 inches.

Nice pics, Mark. Hope you are able to get those bigguns also!

As the other Mark noted, #4 does look a bit on the thin side. His dorsal looks a teensy bit clamped too. I don't want to alarm you, but from personal experience, it's easy not to notice it so much when you see your own fish every day...I wish I'd gotten the two I've lost into treatment sooner, but I didn't heed the observation of another and I'm kicking myself!

#2 and #4 are the same fish, right?
The (slightly) clamped fin could be just due to the position of the shot, but you might want to give a bit of observation time to that little dude to make sure it isn't a constant.

He's not overly thin, and if he's an energetic little bugger that could be part of the reason he's a bit more streamlined than the others. Worth checking out just in case it's early warning signs.

Like Shari spotted 2 & 4 are the same fish as are 1 & 3, I actually got these two fish at the same time and the fish that is in 2 & 4 is always on the go swimming with my biggest Clown and the dorsal was only down like that in that shot, usually it nigh on up.

I don't think I will be getting the big Clowns after all

The guy is messing me about, first of all he had photos then they got deleted mysteriously and now he cant take any more because they are so fast

I am not driving two hours to his house without seeing proof of their size first, once he found out I had Clowns and lots of other loaches and knew what I was talking about he seemed a bit reluctant

Yeah the longer it went on the more I figured he was full of BS, he has now said that they have recentley spawned
