Nice looking loaches. But is there any shelter for them in that tank?

Is it normal for them all to be grey'd out like that? I thought they only did that when squabling over food

I know Chen has quite a few PVC pipes at the other end of the tank, one of which can be seen here: http://www.loaches.com/species-index/ph ... s.jpg/view

Yep...i have some pipes for them...prior to taking these photos, they were fighting..(2 11 inches) and that makes them 'nervous'.
Plus the black and white gravel causes the clowns to have these grayish effect
