Question on IDs - Schisturas?

the last pic looks like acanthocobitis botia, the spots and bars fish i would say is nemocheilius pallidus.
the red tails are the shisturas poss mahnerti's

Id agree with Mick on that one
On a side note-Regarding
Acanthocobitis botia, is the only way to tell the diff between them and
Acanthocobitis rubidipinnis due to the redness on the finnage-mine (what I had thought to be
Acanthocobitis botia) are starting to take on red finnage-does this make them infact
Acanthocobitis rubidipinnis????

Snap up the
Nemocheilius species. Not often seen are these little chaps!

Hi Ashleigh. No its not just the red in the fins; at least three Acanthocobitis can get red fins. rubidipinnis tends to have more dorsal fin rays, and I think from memory that males of rubidipinnis have a suborbital flap whereas botia have a ridge.

Ah, i'd love to... sadly, i'm at fishy capacity and can't convince the bf that another tank is a good idea (not enough space)
