Gorgeous Clowns! How big are they? And how in the world can you get such great pictures of them!? I have 24 Clowns and not 1 will stay still for me to click a pic!

Thanks for the nice comments. My clowns are i'm guessing 7 inches head to tail. That is what my pleco measured last august and they are all about the same size. Ok all but the 2 that I call the Twins they are lots smaller. As far as pictures go thats somewhat luck but also I have the Sony Alpha 100 SLR camera with the new flash that I can't remember the model of right now (something 42) but it rotates and moves all funky wierd. Great technical description there. Anyways I took like 30 pictures and got 8 decent ones. I've learned a few tricks reading this forum but practice and good equipment helps.

Yeah, I agree-the salt and pepperage of the substrate is surprisingly striking.

Sorry about long time no reply school kicks me in the rear occasionally. The sand is Estes sand I believe its just mixed sand of white and black. I think I mixed it 50/50 however if I had to do it again I would probably do more black with a little white... like a crushed oreo and less like salt and pepper.
