I've finally finished my 200 litres rivertank project. I have 2 powerheads pumping 1500 l/h each so there should be enough current for hillstream loaches to enjoy themselves. Here is some pics along the way...

I have now 3 Vanmanenia in the tank and I'm going to release my Gastromyzon there from quarantine on weekend. I have G. ctenocephalus, G. scitulus, G. ocellatus, G. zebrinus and Sinogastromyzon wui and I'm trying to find other species of hillstream loaches too.

Very nice tank!!!
Be sure to get more pics when you release the other fish into the tank.
Please also try to get more pics of the Vanmanenia. This looks like a different species that we generally see on this site.

Does this look like the species you have?

Thank you for the kind comments! :D

Janne, thanks for the offer, but we already have Sewellia linoelata (and their offspring) in one of my wife's tanks. I may drop in for a coffee though if I'm ever near Vaasa. :) And please let me know if you've managed to breed Gastromyzon unknown, I'll be happy to buy a couple of those...

Jim, my Vanmanenia has been indentified as Vanmanenia cf. pingchowensis when Janne kindly posted pics of them here on LOL for id (was the id by you?).

I'll be happy to post more pics later on! :D
