Loaches Online Forum

I'm currently following a course (from a series of capita selecta/masters courses) on biodiversity where we are required to write an essay on a topic of choice.

My initial choice was deep sea biodiversity, but yesterday I thought it might be nice to see what can be found on Loach biodiversity. Maybe just the different species themselves, or maybe something on the impact of pollution or the effects popularity in the aquarium fish trade on the natural populations.

If people know of any good papers related to Loaches and biodiversity I'd love to hear about those.

Thanks Emma, it arrived, but I just remembered that I sent a few papers to Mike Ophir a while back and one of those was that particular paper. I still had it in my "sent mail".

would it be a good idea to have a paper sharing sticky - a bit like on petfrd? it can be so hard to get hold of papers without access to a university library

Alternatively I can sort you out for a very cheap rate as I have access to the University of Newcastle journal database Only kidding of course. I'm not sure about the legalities of sharing papers openly...it'd have to be by email as with Petfrd I think.

Tut tut... "dia" is masculine. So it should be "todos los dias" or even better "cada dia".

Don't worry I've been studying English since high school and still I can't speak it properly....

Spanish has a very confusing grammar due to the high number of irregular verbs IMO.

I also have a university account for most science journals, so if people only know the name of a paper, that will be good too. (Although I think I might have a lot to work with already.)
