There are a couple of species I've seen recently with common names of a variation on the 'sumo loach' nametag, those being
Schistura carbonaria and
Schistura cf chapaensis. Of course this may mean nothing, but could be a starting point. Nice find, MD!

No idea on the species, although one with the bands that don't go round the entire dorsal surface look a bit like what I bought as 'red tail loach' a few years back, I remember I had it down as
Schistura carbonaria but not definate by any means.
A great find all the same
