I picked up these 3 Schistura's yesterday, they were on sale as Giant Banded Sumo Loach

I think there are definitely two different species but not sure which :?

Possibly Schistura waltoni or schistura notostigma?

There are a couple of species I've seen recently with common names of a variation on the 'sumo loach' nametag, those being Schistura carbonaria and Schistura cf chapaensis. Of course this may mean nothing, but could be a starting point. Nice find, MD! 8)

Nice looking Schistura sp's

No idea on the species, although one with the bands that don't go round the entire dorsal surface look a bit like what I bought as 'red tail loach' a few years back, I remember I had it down as Schistura carbonaria but not definate by any means.

A great find all the same  Looking foward to some more pic's
