Got some more Gastros some weeks ago and finally managed to get a picture of this fellow. Haven't been able to make a 100% id on it myself, so here's another ID. Bad pics, extremely shy and this camera takes lousy closeups.

My guess is that it is a stellatus, but the unknown 5 is also a good choice.

Hi, Janne!
Looks very similar to my Gastromyzon that I think are stellatus. I'm looking forward to a positive ID from someone. :)

I would say stellatus too, although the spots seem larger than most that I have seen.

Hi Janma,
I hope you don't mind me jumping in on your thread? I think I may have the same fish?? I've been through the species index and can't quite find a match.
I was planning on starting a thread a little later when it settled in and I could get better pics but thought it may be good to compare it with yours. Hope it's OK. It'll be interesting to see what everyone thinks. The lfs where I bought it had a tank labeled "Borneo Sukermouth" with at least 3 different species. I have another I can't ID either. Thanks!!Image

I'd say stellatus too. That's what I think I have when I obtained two Gastromyzons two weeks ago.
