Loaches over time?

Post by poeticpyro » Thu May 18, 2006 10:18 pm

Do loaches (specifically yo-yos and kubotais) change over time?

ie: do their patterns change at all? like yo-yos getting thicker lines or more squiggles and kubotais getting "flatter" spots?

just curious...

how long to kubotais get by the way? i've heard 6", but i was thinking more along 4"
many tanks...

got to love my fat little wobbly wigglies...

The yoyo's definately changes pattern as they mature. The YoYo dissapears... And yes, the Kubotias do not get very big. Very like the striadas they will get to about 4 inches. I would love see a pic of one above 4 inches.
120 gallon planted aquaponic tank with 10 clown loachs, first one since 1994, 1 modesta and 3 striadas.
