Are H. Tweediei snail munchers?

...... I've heard that they are. Is this true? Has anyone who's kept them got anything to comment? It might just solve a problem for me if they do. Or, are there any other snail eaters suitable for a river tank?

Cheers,

Gary

Hi Gary,

I've never seen Homaloptera eating snails myself, but I'm sure others will comment on this.
I have some Schistura balteata in my River Tank with the Sewellia lineolata. The Schisturas are also river-fish, and they do a pretty good job of keeping the snail population a little more under control. The only downside is that some species are quite fiesty, so if you decided to get some, you'd have to be a bit careful which species you chose.
