Nice looking pics. The coloring on the striata are beautiful.

I have only had the B.Striata seen in the photos for about 2 weeks now. They are much fatter than when I first got them. They are taking food well, and very active. They love bloodworms and slup them up like spaghetti.

Over the next few months, I'll post the progress of them.

That would be great, its always nice to be able to look back and see them gradually become different fish. Its a real shame that majority end up like this in shops but with the right care they blossom :)

I was going to say the same thing about the horsies. That tapered look should change with feeding. Mix in some bloodworms and brineshrimp.
Your vantage point determines what you can see.

The horsie was skinnier than that when I got him. He looked like a piece of straw with a head. He is getting rather plump now. He eats like a champ, and is looking much better. Shame that these creatures come to the stores in such bad shape. Even worse is most people in the LFS's buying fish are clueless thus they don't get proper care after purchase either.
