Just finally got my PVC overflow working tonight. Word up to the wise, 1 1/4" PVC was not adequate opposite the Magdrive 9.5. I had to throttle it down. Now with the extra volume and water movement, I was thinking about some new additions to the community. The tank is a 75G w/ 29g sump, 2 Rena xP2, Koralia 4. I keep two Pengiun BIO-Wheel 200s alive on the back for the QT tank.

6 Tiger Barbs
5 Juvenile Clowns, largest is plump and approaching 4". The rest have just plumped up from taking them home four months ago.

I definitely want to add more kubotai. Do you think I could add another 3 or even 6 more maybe?

4' long tank? Plenty of hiding places for all the bottom dwellers? You have room there from the point of view of bioload. If there is land for all, then it might work. Not for long, though. The Clowns are going to outgrow that tank.

There are lots and lots of PVC sections in there. Also some plastic things from petsmart that look pretty decent. For a good portion of the day all I see are rasboras and barbs.
I found one good looking kubo the other day and put it in QT. If he makes it, I'm gonna pick up one or two more. I haven't seen him eat yet, I'm gonna try and get some larvae outside see if he likes that. Maybe I'll try a scrap of cocktail shrimp or some lettuce.

Mine have been quite happy in a 4' long tank for over a year, they do slow their growth once they get out of the 'Little Bitty' size. I found mine grew quickly to about 3", then started getting fatter, and slowed down in length-growth. (Still, it is growth, and more massive fish make more waste, it does not just go by length)
