Skunkloach and tanksize?

Hi!
As a new loachaholic I made the mistake of buying to many too fast. Amongst these were 5 skunks which were put in a tank with clowns, yo-yo`s and SAE`s. (the SAE`s seems to get along with them just fine??) I`m upgrading to a much bigger tank but I don`t wont to transfer the skunks to this one. I know now that they should have a tank of their own. My question is this: is a 25-30G tank large enough to house 5 skunks (and ONLY these)? I checked out the species list but it only says a fairly sized tank, and this doesn`t really tell me anything.

Kind regards

hi tender
i would say yes, if the tank has adequate filtration and plenty of hiding places,
could you give us the dimensions of the proposed tank please.
and is that US or imperial gallons.

Oh god  .... the size I mentioned was worked out by software! We operate in liters here so I have no idea what kind of gallon it is :?
The liter size are 120 and 110. (I have 2 different tanks as an option) The filtration is not a problem. I always overfiltrate my tanks. Usually I combine internal/external filter with powerhead and "blue spunge filter media" (I have no idea what that spunge is called in english). In my larger tanks I use external filters in addition to both internal and powerheads. The larger tank has a bigger footprint than the other, so i guess that would be best for the skunks?

If they are the only inhabitants and the tank has a suitable footprint ie longer and wider rather than deeper then I see no real problems. Ensure adequate filtration and a good maintenance routine. Decent decor with plenty of retreats for the fish etc.

Maintenance is good (as far as I can work out). I do partial water changes 2 times a week and the decor is loach-friendly (I have translated Emmas loach-article for a Norwegian forum) so I have the basics of Loach-keeping covered. (I hope  ) But I want to keep my skunks happy, and thats why i posted my question to you loach-experts.. re size :D :D
