Firstly! I must say it was real pleasure to meet Emma & Steve.

I had a lovely time "drooling" over all the superb array of Loaches. And the many other fish........oh so many!
Secondly! To actually see Emma & Steve's large clowns was amazing! I remember saying to Emma "i think i can see Marge" "oh no you haven't" replied Emma. Then right on cue came the shadow! Then came this "huge" fantastic looking Clown called Marge. I have to say i was "stunned" by her size and beauty! What a fantastic sight it was! I'm truly jealous.
On my visit, i did come home with some superb Loaches.
Yunnanilus brevis
Pangio doriae (pink)
Aborichthys elongatus
L. guntea (leucistic)
Y. nigrolineata
Nemacheilus sp.
Nemacheilus pallidus
Schistura nicholsi
They have all arrived in great health and now are "doing" dark time.
Oh yeah! Martin! I also purchased 3 Sewellia's
Graeme.

Hi Graeme,
I'm glad that you and the loaches all got home safely!
It was lovely to meet you at last, and it was great to finally be able to chat to someone who is as obsessed with loaches as I am!
Brian at the shop thought it was very amusing that you seemed 'glued' to the Loach section all the time you were there! He said, 'did he actually see the rest of the shop?!!!'

Graeme goes "What rest of the shop?"
Sounds like your bank manager will love Graeme Emma. Aren't the
Sewellias just something else Graeme?
Glad you had fun and were awed.
One day, I'm going to get over that side of the pond again.
Martin.

Ever consider setting up a satellite store in the US, perhaps in the middle section of the country? I can only wish.....

Emma you dont want to set one up in the middle of the country, set one up in the north east, with the highest population density, that way you can maximize the number of customers

Ahhh yeah! I was a bit "glued" to the loach section. I cant help it.
All fish are doing great. Those Sewellia's are something else. The Yunnanilus brevis's are now becoming more outgoing with "hovering" around the middle area's.

Emma, it's quite obvious that your new shop should be in Vancouver!
Graeme, you lucky swine! A candy-aisle trip to Emma's & Steve's! Marge is world famous now. Do you think she suspects?

Sorry Daryl, we didn't take any photographs!

You can see a couple of photos of the shop at
http://www.fishkeeper.co.uk/store_detai ... storeid=33 but there isn't actually any of the loach section on there. The 8ft display tank with the bamboo is home to a huge number and variety of loaches though.

That's excellent news Graeme!

I'm looking forward to hearing lots of 'progress reports.'

Well, she knows Graeme was watching her for a while, and I've told her that we're thinking of getting a 'Marge web-cam' at some point, so yes, I think she may suspect!!!

No worries on that part, Emma. I remember you having a sad feeling with parting with the Yunnanilus brevis. You where having a 'farewell' look at them, a couple of times.

But I know that they couldn't have gone to a better home!

The 8ft tank is fabulous!

Thank you Daryl! That is actually quite an old picture of the 8ft tank, it looks even better now. Many more big mother-plants & large bogwood pieces - it's a real loachy haven!

There are Clowns,
Botia kubotai,
Botia dario,
Botia striata &
Botia histrionica in there. One of the
histrionicas is huge, as are a couple of the
striatas. Will have to try and get some more up-to-date pics done.
