Dither decision

Post by Tinman » Fri Jul 25, 2008 7:55 pm

I see Puntius fasciatus at the LFS ,about 20 or so..... :?: I am thinking of removing my Albino Tin Foils that are BIG and replacing them with these. These get red in the tail slightly also right ? If not the name is wrong then but they have these type side markings. Does anyone have these ? This is in my tank with the large Clowns so I am wondering about compatibility issues over the long term , flow, etc.... help

Hiya Tinman,

Puntius fasciatus (Melon barbs) make superb additions to fast-flowing loach tanks. Here is an old thread of Graeme's with some great pics of his beautiful fish: http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php?t=5810
