My clown loach update

hello all.. it is been awhile since i updated some photos of them..

Sorry about the poor photos as the only lighting i have right now is the sunlight.

This tank is without substrate as im shifting them in to a new 5x2x2 tank in a few months time.

Comments are welcomed.:)

ok on a non substrate tank but turtles?? :P :P :P

How old and how long is that big Botia on 3rd and 4th photo?

This is a temporary tank before i shift them to a 5 feet tank..

I dont know how old..but at least 11 inches long.

Lots of problem with wild caught large loaches..2 of them have the skinny problem again. :(

Sorry to here that some of the clowns aren't doing well. Are you doing anything to treat them?

yea. :(

Now i dosed my tank with antibiotics..and next week, will use the deworm-er meds. i dont think it is caused by worms this time but bacterial infection..only 2 of them are not eating and started to lose weight. only time will tell.

You might have better luck if you treat the skinny clowns in a quarantine tank. In a crowded tank it will be difficult for them to eat and rest peacefully.

Most common is Hexamita sp, an intestinal protozoa. Metronidazole uses to do fine on them.

That's a FRT fly river turtle really neat aquatic turtle.

how is the turtle with a community tank? where do you find one?
