Loaches ID Please

Post by starsplitter7 » Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:30 pm

These came in as Botia dario and I think the Gold Zebra loach. They are about 1-1.25". Very small and young.

Could you confirm this is a B. dario (aka Queen loach)?

Is the "Gold Zebra Loach" a very young B. histrionica? I have never seen B. histrionica for sale before?

Yea! Thanks for the ID. I have never seen B. histies before. I was so sure they were Yoyos until I realized the o's were missing. :) I am very excited about this. I think this is really a good loach to keep. Relatively small and peaceful. Much better than Clowns for the average tank.
