Well..... almost a year after i decided to give up keeping any
Botia's so i can concentrate on keeping
Grrr Loaches and mostly any
non-Botia Loaches i finally cracked under the pressure of seeing them in our lfs and members pictures on here. I purchased 6 baby
Botia Dario the other day, these chaps are only around 1 inch in length. Here's a couple of pictures.

Beautiful fish! I can't seem to find them anywhere, and I guess I can't have every species. I see a few white spots on the second fish. Did you notice that?

Good on you Graeme!
Glad your illness has passed and you're back in the land of the Botia!
Now how about some Emperors?

Great looking fish. Big Al's in Vancouver had a whole bunch a while back (also babies). Are they captive bred or do they catch them that small?

I knew you'd be tempted again!

I bet you wish you still had the special U2 specimen, don't you?
bslindgren - yes, they catch them that small. They tend to be available for a few months of the year only. Right now it is
Botia dario season.

Oh yes i loved and lost that U2 beauty Emma, but i have a cunning plan.....well not really, i just purchased another one which looks like he will grow into the U2.2 or something like that.
