A few weeks ago I picked these up under the name peppered loach. They are now ready to come out of quarantine and I was thinking I would add them in with my sid's. However I wanted to get a positive ID from a few of the professionals out there just to be sure this is indeed the species. Also if any of you feel these should not be mixed with sid's I would of course appreciate your opinions. According to fishbase these fish do occure in a couple of the same countries however there habitats may differ. The tank they will be going into is ~ 30 gallons, planted with various Cryptocorne sp. and filtered by a Rena XP3 canister filter. Thanks alot!

P.S. This is my first time posting pictures so I hope it works...

OK I couldn't get the photos to work.... so I have left them as links. Hope you can still view them this way. If any one can explain to me what I have done wrong when adding photos and how to do it correctly I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

Thanks for the replies! The fish are now happily in their new home and everyone appears to be getting along. Now that I have figured out how to post pictures I will try and get some more shots of my fish and tanks!
