IHello
Is a 160x55x55cm.
Perhaps a 170cm., and in 10x55x55 a steps filter(i have one in a 160lt., and works ok)
For filtration and water movement:
I have eheim canister ecco 2336, 600lt/h
2 eheim classic 2215, 600lt/h each
HOB penguin, with bio-wheell, 1700lt/h
I also have a bio-life 55, internal, wet-dry, 600lt/h
If i make the step filter, a 1200-1500Lt/h pump.
I want loaches only, i already have:
Clowns, 2 of 5cm, and waiting for 3 more.
Yo-yo, 3 of 4cm,
Kubs in qt. now, 3 of 3cm.
My idea is about a dozen of clowns and half dozen of yo-yo, kubs, and maybe striatas
Lights, which and how many wt/lt
Substrate, sand.
Temperature; 28-30°
Ph 7, kh 2-3, gdh 3-5

Is OK, I'll appreciate advices and suggestions...

Might be a tad warm for the kubs - not sure about striatas and yoyos. I killed one of my kubs when the temperature spiked at 30 degrees.

Lights depends on whether or not you plan to have live plants. Otherwise subdued light would be best for the fish, I believe.

I don't know anything about the technical stuff, but you are in the right place to connect with those who do!!

I would think about a small school of fish to act as dithers. Something like 6-8 Rummynose Tetras. They signal to the loaches that it is safe to come out. Or your loaches may hide and you will not see them.

About temp., now is summer and very hot, so is very difficult to low down.
They look Ok.

The rummynose are hemigramus, are from amazonas. They use similar water parameters. It's a good option...

I have kept Yoyos in warm tanks, but not Kubs. Have a look here at the species profiles for each species and try to keep each fish in a tank that has optimum parameters, middle of the range for that species.
If for example one fish handles temperatures of 26-30*C and another fish prefers 23-27*C do not keep these in the same tank. Yes, they requirements overlap, but at such a small range that if anything happened to the temperature one or the other species would be in trouble.

If I have done the math correctly you have water movement pretty close to 10 times the tank volume per hour. This is pretty good.
