Hi all,

Been quite a while since I have posted. I lost my 5 clowns to ich 1 year ago, despite all the great advice I was given by the members of this community.

Well the other day while browsing the LFS I decided to try it again, and I am so glad I did. The clowns were the reason I got into the hobby in the first place!

So here's a small vid of my 6 new clowns munching on some shrimp.

First off, that's a great video. I too love my clown loaches and am in the process of setting up a new home (150g) to house a bigger family of them. For being new clown loaches they seem rather larger than what I've seen. Great find on them. I have to get all my fish from either Petsmart of Petco. I went to Petsmart the other day and all their CL's were sick with Ick. BOO. -1 for them.

Also, what are those plants you have that are real low and have the big leaves? Did you purchase them locally or online? My selection here is slim to none and the online places I've seen are rather expensive.

That pleco you have is BEAST!! I love it. Sorry for babbling. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments, the clowns came from my lfs. They have an amazing selection of fresh and salt water fish. I've met people who have traveled over 100 miles to buy fish there. Prices are a bit high, but the quality of fish is worth it.

All of the plants you mentioned are silk, Hagen Marina variety packs. I found them at Petsmart.

Thanks, someday I hope my little buddies get that big.

My last school of 5 were about 2 years old when they died from ich. I'm still upset with myself for making such a stupid mistake. I used my python to clean a friends severely neglected tank w/ sick fish. I completely forgot that any disease/parasites in her tank could live on my equipment :(

Oh well, live and learn.......

Thanks! It was shot with an HD cam, on youtube you can click the high quality link. I love that you can hear the clicking in the video. I wasn't sure if the camera would pick it up.
