this vid is of one of the tanks in the fishroom, the tank is 48x18x15 inch tank, (45 imp gallons)
all the striatas in this tank are 3 inches and over, and there's a mix of other loaches in there.
hope you enjoy.

More great stuff Mick!!!
There's a few there that I can't identify. One of them is front and center at 2:53.
Your fish and videos are great! I think it would be a great to have a video section on the site. If you wanted to do audio commentary with what is in view and what's going on it would be a great education for us novices. Thanks for sharing!

Looking good Mick, those striata look fantastic. The last batch my lfs had in were all 2.5" and over, it was really strange seeing them offered for sale at that size.

cheers folks.
plaalye, thats a schistura maepiensis i grabbed them all when they come into my mates shop, it's the only time i think they've been exported and they can get a bit aggresive to their own kind.
Mark
yup thats how they behave all the time mate, i'm sure it's because they're in the fish room though, if they were in the tank in the living room i reckon they would be more outgoing.
have you seen and courting behavior from yours.

I think so Mick, I have what I am certain to be 3 female and 1 male and I have seen at least three times now two of the females when really fat burying themselves in the gravel side by side with the male, after a bit of wriggling the female swims off and the male stays put for a couple of hours and during this time wont even eat.
I am desperate to get these into their own tank but the tank I was going to use for them I am leaving alone for now because that is the one that I am 100% certain the dario spawned in but there is that much plant growth and that many pebbles etc in there it is hard to see anything if it is there
