Hey gang,
Are there any breeding accounts of this fish. A lfs has a few and I wouldn't mind trying them. I usually don't buy fish though if they aren't breedable.

every fish is breedable mate, it's just trial and lots of error until you crack it or fail, then you go back to the drawing board.
i've been trying to breed Puntius rhomboccelatus for years now with no success but one days i will.
go on get a decent number and start experimenting.

One of our LOL members, chris1932, has bred the very similar species Homaloptera confuzona. I am hoping he'll get round to doing a write up for us sometime. You could always PM him to ask what conditions he keeps his Homaloptera in.

Trying to breed Loaches could be a real challenge to take on, but that may make it all the more worthwhile to try.
Kuhli loaches have been bred.., along with Y. Sidthimunki's, but I'm not sure of others. In Kuhlis it's quite common, but with the sid's, it's been done, but not so often.
In loaches, it seems they are more likely to breed if there are large groups of them.
