hi
i woke up this morning to see my weather loach sitting on the rocks and gliding over them, as soon as i lifted my head, i must off startled him and he dashed off!
he went 2" when he tried to get bettween to smooth pepples and got stuck.
he got out after a fight and well it looks like it was hanging of!!!
i emeidiatly got up and he moved, the fin was moving ok but when he rested it went to one side!!
help!
i'm putting a pic of him a few weeks ago and crcle witch fin it is! please note this isn't now.

Sorry to hear about your Weather Loach. Any chance of posting a pic of what the fin looks like now? If it is just slightly ripped, it will heal itself given excellent water conditions (water change, water change, water change....).

i'm afraid my weather loach gets very stressed when i take photos. i don't want to put any more pressure on him/her, i feel bad enough as it is!
i'll keep the water quality pristine! i'll do 10% every 2 days?
is there anything else i can do?

It'd be best if you could do small partial changes every day whilst the fish appears to be wounded. If the area starts to look like it may be getting infected, you may need to think about using a treatment. But usually if you keep the water in tip-top condition, this isn't necessary.

the fin seems a little better now and my loach is acting normal.
i hope he/she going to be fine, hes the centre fish!
