An example of Botia use of a bamboo habitat.
#1, the "loach hotel" habitat area, used by everyone. These photos are from noticing the two sections to the far right wiggling about on their own.

And use. The space was not big enough for the 2 loaches inside, but the segments are light enough that the loaches don't care- they are able to move them without getting crushed: relatively safe.

Same again, of big one's nose detail. The other is in behind.

And apparently it's edible. Pleco and Synodontis tooth marks can be see inside, particularly in the pulpy segment partition wood.
Also note tiny gobies on back-slate.
