Hey, guys, I'm new to the forum. Some of you might know me from MFK, but I love loaches, so I decided to sign up here. Hope I can add as much as I'll learn

Nice clowns you have there. Tell us more about the aquarium. What are the water conditions like, such as temperature, KH, GH, pH, and Nitrates?

I run it at about 78F. It's a 100G acrylic. I don't test my water unless the fish look stressed or sick at all.

welcome along
the clown that is more visible in your picture is very pretty

is it just the 2 of them in the tank?
for the clown loaches to be really happy, they will need more hiding places. the pipe is great, but more of it would help them, and so would some bogwood to give them some shady hiding areas. it helps to make them more confident and you will see them behave more naturally.
have you seen the info on clown loaches on the main site?

my only concern is the choice of fish you have, although they look really healthy you have a rift cichlid that likes water near or above ph 8, and a hardness thats around 18, with Asian fish.
in my eyes it just does'nt look right.
sorry for my comment, and welcome to LOL.

I actually have six more. Only 3 of them are above 6 or 7 inches, though. The rest I raised, and now they are about 4~4.5 inches. I have a castle for them that they love, and I'm planning on getting more PVC pipe. My fire eel loves it too.
