Hmmmmm....it's interesting to see two accounts of these being available at present. Hopefully they're coming back into availability again.
Super looking specimens Mark in lovely condition.
Martin.

Thanks guys
I have to admit that I was more shocked about how they looked than the fact that they were there, I have only seen them once before round here and they were very skinny.
They seemed to have a good feast on artemia and bloodworm last night and seem very settled this morning so I may even go back and get more this morning

Are those H. confuzona or H. orthogoniata? Beautiful fish. As much as I like the other hillies, Homaloptera are the ones that make me think seriously about sinking money into a hillstream tank.

I would say a bit of both Dave.

Lovely fat
Homalopteras!

Martin,
H. orthogoniata have been available from my favourite supplier for the last 2 months running. Let me know if you'd like his details to pass on to Harold, I am not 100% sure he ships to Canada, but he definitely does ship to the US so I'd think there was a good chance.

Definitely more
H. orthogoniata than
H. confuzona but there are both species there.
I have been back this morning and I said to the guy that I wanted 8 which would have been £40 but while he was catching them he was asking how to keep them and I told him so he did me the last 12 for £30, the Jedi powers are still strong

Attractive fish! And wonderful pictures.
I'm interested in the company's Homaloptera from before, too.
But the fish seen at stores so far was too big.

There are 4 that are just under 2" but the rest are between 2" and 3"
Not bad for £3.50 each

I hate you

How big is the setup you have for them?
