Wow, what a change! I haven't been by the forum in quite a while,(more than a year maybe), and it has gone so high tech! Very cool. Anyway, as always searcing for new and interesting loach species, the "That Pet Place " website caught my interest. First they had a picture of some type of Schistura labled as a Botia Striata, which I told them was incorrect, now they have something they are calling a "Green Line Loach" labled as a Botia Striata??(No photo) The description could not possibly be a Striata. They say it is olive green above a lateral line, and cream below with a large spot near it's tail and a red dorsal fin. They also claim that it has scales. Please check out the website for the comlete description as I did not memorize it, but I have no idea what it can be?? If anyone can guess what it is and knows what the temprament is like, please let me know! thanks for the help!! ?

Thanks!! :D That picture sure fits the description. I searched the Botias but nothing came close. I should have known the store was no where near right.on the name! Cute little thing...might have to add them to my collection. New aquarium to fill, only a few clowns and a couple Rainbows! Thanks again!

You might want to find out more about this species before buying any.
I think there are a few people that post here frequently who have this species.
