WOW! I've never seen this type of marking on rostrata here. I couldn't resist if I did. Thanks for all the great pics!!

This is often what they end up looking like as they get larger. Mine started out with the typical ladder type markings but now look like this at 3".

thanks for showing the pictures. that one in the top tank never did show himself that clearly to me. wonderfull markings :D

Both of these are around 6 to 6.5 cm, the one with the most developed markings (left hand side 1st & 2nd pic) is more silver in body colour and black markings, hopefully it should be a stunner when it grows to the size of my existing ones :)

Amazing Loaches. I've never seen such markings. Very beautiful.
