Polka Dot Loach

Post by ricoishere » Thu Apr 02, 2009 12:09 pm

I've an established 47G Bow (36 x 22), with excellent filtration (Eheim 2028 w/ prefilter and a separate sponge filter), good lighting (not oo bright 10K/actinic blue), a powerhead, planted nicely with CO2, with ecco-complete/fluorite black sand mix, driftwood with large hiding places. I saw 1 polka dot loach at petsmart, and love how it looked. All that I've read seems to indicate my tank is suitable for these delicate fish. I'm looking to add 3 to this tank. Any opinions?

5 Tiger Barbs (2.5")
1 Gold Gourami (4")
1 Black Banded Leporinus (3") about to get re-homed
2 Julii Cory (1")

try getting 6 if you can, the other fish are fine except the gold gourami, keep an eye on that as the bigger they get they have been known to become rogues in the tank.
